4.0 out of 5 stars I like it, March 3, 2011

I have been using this shaving cream for about 2 weeks now and have noticed a better shave ever since the switch from a crabtree & evelyn product my wife got me. For my skin I love the way it feels when I shave and has an appealing scent, not to strong at all in my opinion. Good smooth lather, with an edwin jagger razor and a good blade this is a winning combo!! FYI I bought mine on Ebay for $15 with free shipping...

Before you believe the review(s) that tell you its not worth it, try it for yourself. It is expensive, yes, but very high quality, and a little goes a long way. Low chemical impact too: read the reviews of Art of Shaving products by EWG cosmetic database (these products are safe).

This product works really well for me in eliminating razor bumps. I got the shaving cream along with the AOS moisturizer and shaving brush. All three of the products are a joy to use. You really need to use very little of the cream, and it goes a long way. 5.3oz of cream lasts for a half a year for me and it is well worth it. I don't use the moisturizer or the pre-shaving oil since they didn't make that much of a difference in reducing the razor bumps. Instead of the moisturizer, I use B&C Skin Tight Extra Strength razor bump creme which does its job really well.

Pros:
-Very little cream needed for a rich lather. The lather is generated very quickly with the badger brush
-Does not sting and makes the hair soft and easy to shave without the pains of alcohol-based shaving foams
Cons:
-None

Using AOS shaving cream, brush, and B&C razor bump creme, the bumps and pains of every morning are gone!
