I've been using Vaseling Aloe with Cucumber and I loved that but I finally ran out so I decided to try this variety. And....I'm just as pleased. It goes on smooth and drys quickly without leaving your skin feeling greasy or nasty. It does have a rather strong perfume scent which people may or may not like. I rather like it. Great for winter dryness if used daily. My motivation for writing this comment is from being frustrated with having to spend ~$6 for a small bottle for after shave balms (Nivea, Loreal, Gillette) because like Vaseline's fast absorbing lotion they would not leave my face greasy looking or feeling. Since discovering this product I'm pleased that I am no longer supporting these overpriced products and their marketing. I guess they discovered that if you use the words "balm" instead of "lotion" and put it in a small bottle like some kind of secrete potion they can get more for it. I also never used a hand lotion on a regular basis for the same greasy reason until now. The scent is very light, it does not bother me and my wife likes. It's also light enough you can use your own cologne. |
